It was a wonderful Christmas holiday in Denver, Colorado. We received 3 inches of new snow last night, dusting everything lightly in a white fluff for Christmas day. I thought I would share some images from a snowy Christmas in Colorado.

Cannelés. Delicious. My tradition of buying French baked good from Trompeau French Bakery now in Englewood, Colorado. Two years ago I wrote a post (Christmas Eve at the French Bakery) about the bakery on Christmas Eve morning - a truly delightful place to be. This year's visit was equally as good and tasty. Trompeau Bakery makes absolutely excellent baguettes (read another one of my eartlier posts The Baguette). Photo by Karen at PedalDancer |

One of the best coffees I have ever tasted, a gift from my parents whose friend started the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf chain of coffee shops in California who recommended this specific limited edition bean. I figure when a wine-maker recommends a wine - buy it, when a coffee-maker recommends a coffee - definitely buy it. I can't wait for Trader Joe's to come to Colorado later this year.
