The thing about being a fan, is that we endure. Sometimes the careers of the riders are short term, they come they go, but we endure. Which should be even greater incentive to get out and watch them while we can, before they retire. It seems odd to look back over the years and see images in my albums of Floyd Landis, Tyler Hamilton, Michael Rasmussen, or the other disgraced ex-riders, it is a strange part of the history of being a fan. But in the end, what shines through is that I have images in the archives of Miguel Indurain, Hinault, Armstrong, Cipollini, Zabel, Virenque, and many others that time has been kinder to. Fun.
