The winter storm has passed
The snow still blankets the ground, but the cold has passed leaving a crisp clear winter day. Last week was a breath-taking-away -12 degrees in Denver, Colorado. The cold weather that spread across the country assured me some quality hours riding my bike indoors on the trainer, but I am so grateful for the return of sunshine to Colorado! Today the temperature should reach 60F degrees. I am celebrating by going for a hike and meeting up with friends. With a 70 degree temperature swing, I can't help but think we should spend all of our day outside, and maybe enjoy sitting outside on a patio somewhere after. Clear blue Colorado skies - nothing is more beautiful! Spring is just around the corner.
